I am an experienced psychotherapist, who is passionate about supporting individuals in their journeys and healing processes. I am a Registered Psychotherapist through the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from The Adler School of Professional Psychology in Vancouver, British Columbia. I am also a Canadian Certified Counsellor and Certified Clinical Supervisor through the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. In addition, I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology from The University of Western Ontario. Presently based in Toronto, I have trained and worked in various addiction and mental health organizations in Ontario and British Columbia.
I strive to maintain the dignity of clients, and to support and empower the individuals with whom I work. I aim to support individuals in finding balance and in maintaining progress as they address their various cognitive, behavioural, and emotional needs and experiences.
I offer a commitment and determination to professional and personal growth, to ensure that my counselling continues to be client-centered and evidence based. I am an Adjunct Lecturer with the University of Toronto Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work. I also have an Addictions Careworker Diploma from McMaster University.
I practice from a client centered, strengths based, and trauma informed lens, meeting individuals where they are at, and working alongside them.
