Kathleen has been providing counselling and coaching to clients for over 23 years. Kathleen has an Honours Degree in Psychology from Brock University and extensive training with many psychologists and worked in multidisciplinary teams.
Kathleen’s experience focuses on helping clients return to the life they have stopped living (through rehabilitation psychotherapy) as well as assisting clients to live the life they always wanted, providing goal-oriented strategies to build skills in career, as well as lifestyle. Kathleen’s professional experience counselling has been with individuals that are struggling within areas in their life including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, chronic illness, terminal illness, grief and loss, relationship and parenting issues, vocational & career counselling coaching.
Kathleen’s counselling experience consists of providing client centred: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy,
Compassion Focused Therapy, Dialectical
Behavioural Therapy and Behavioural Activation as well as Mindfulness strategies.
Kathleen looks forward to working with individuals who are ready to be challenged in counselling while also being supported to make progress in their life which they are currently struggling.
