I believe that to explore, discover, examine and process life’s parts and experiences, this can lead to self-growth and strength. This open and curious approach and mindset is what I use with my clients, by providing a safe space for discovery, learning and change to happen at any pace. I understand that allowing other people to join a personal journey is difficult, so I strive to create and maintain an open, non-judgmental environment to slowly knock down some of those difficult walls which stand between a person and change.
As a Registered Psychotherapist, I am available to provide psychotherapy in both English and Slovak. I have received training in narrative therapy, attachment-focused psychotherapy, and mindfulness-based interventions which are how I like to guide my sessions. Using these approaches help me learn and understand what is going on in my client’s life because I try to look at problems from the outside rather than as part of one’s identity. I also have experience providing other psychotherapy approaches including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT). However, I always base my psychotherapy style on my client’s preference, pace and process.
